Accessible Documents at the Fund
We also challenge ourselves to do the right thing. Being for everyone means going that step further to meet those with accessibility needs at least half way. Accessibility is not simple. To be perfect is maybe asking too much, but you have to start somewhere, and we started with the legal requirements benchmarked by the WCAG 2.1 AA standards, and which continue to evolve.
Delivering on aspirations
Interpreting them requires some focus, but then understanding how to meet them can leave one conflicted. I consider a user centred approach best. If we cannot live in a perfect world, we must follow a good, better, best, iterative process.

Our accessibility work includes:
- a colour system
- typography
- document structure
- tagging
- alt-text
- alternative formats
Personal standards
As a creative, I look at how to enhance the message and content provided. Delivering on technical specifications has always been part of my work, and I am proud to include accessibility as a requirement.
